My fellow Americans, happy to have you along. It was a freedom-loving, fantastic, faith-filled, we're taking America back, one heart, one mind, one issue at a time Friday. The Party Should Be Over
I started with parties, because George Washington, in his farewell address, said, hey, parties are horrible. Don't do them. They create factions. They eventually destroy countries. I think he's absolutely spot on.
The two parties have also, in my opinion, become criminal. They pretend they're government even though they're private corporations. They control primary elections. In Utah, Democrats have an open primary, Republicans make you declare as a Republican, and if you're third party or no party, you're disenfranchised from everything. Their candidates get money. Their corporations get special privilege. They have built a moat around themselves to protect their forever existence and special privilege.
Dr. Bradley quoted George Washington, saying party spirit is "a fire not to be quenched" and demands vigilance lest "instead of warming, it should consume." His bottom line was that parties are going to burn the country down, and I said yes, we are in the middle of that right now.
Jacob made a fair point. He said the bigger issue is the centralization of power in two political parties. If we had more equal access and several parties, corruption would be harder. But he also said, really, they are not two parties. They are the uniparty.
I don't want to turn the parties around. I want to shut them both down. I want to go back to the precincts in America, little neighborhoods, no partisan anywhere, no primary elections, just caucusing, vetting candidates, delegates, and representative government.
The Pledge Of Allegiance And What Comes First
Then we moved to the Pledge of Allegiance. Some people say the Pledge is horrible and the only allegiance we should have is to God or Christ. I understand that concern, but I said I have allegiance to God, family, and country, in that order.
When I pledge allegiance to the flag, the flag is just a visual symbol. I'm pledging allegiance to a constitutional republic. I understand the wording has problems. We are really 50 republics with dual sovereignty and a general government. But I do believe we are under God, and I pray we can prepare people for the Savior Jesus Christ to return.
I am not interested in being a popular talk show host. I am interested in educating Americans to the principles they need to live free, to use their freedom wisely, and have that freedom become liberty through wise agency.
Jacob said politics is downstream of principle, and principle comes from God. He said he loves America, puts his hand over his heart out of respect for the United States of America, the promised land, the New Jerusalem, but he will not swear allegiance to anyone or anything except God.
I appreciate that. But to me, covenants have allegiance. I have covenant allegiance to God. I have a covenant with my wife, and that is 100 percent. I do not have allegiance to the IRS, criminal government, or parties. But government is instituted among men by God for the rights of the people, and I have allegiance to those godly principles in their proper order.
Republicans Got Slaughtered
Then we dealt with the midterms. The Republicans got slaughtered. The Democrats are gloating. The Republicans are on the ropes and wondering how they can turn it around. Some are admitting the truth of why they lost. Others, like Donald, are in clear, flat-out denial, saying if Donald were on the ballot, they would have won in a landslide.
When I say "we," I just mean Republicans. I'm not a Republican. I don't care who wins or loses in these elections because I believe it is a clown show. I believe they are really the left and right wings of the same bird of prey. It's a uniparty, and they both share power.
Ron Paul said it best: the Republicans deserve to lose, but the Democrats don't deserve to win.
Impeachment And The Lame Duck Surprise
We talked about whether Donald Trump could be impeached, what happens to Pete Hegseth, and the broader question: what happens to us?
Dr. Bradley said he does not think they are going to come and shut us down, though I reminded him they put me in the congressional record twice, saying I was one of the greatest threats in American politics and the nexus of hate in America. I pray he is right, but I don't know.
Jacob said he does think they will come after people like me, him, and Dr. Bradley, because the uniparty does not want the average American awakened and empowered with actual principles. He said the true measure of a leader is how many other leaders he creates.
Dr. Bradley warned about the two-month lame duck period. All sorts of precipitous things could happen. Trump could do something bellicose. Netanyahu could do so. Other countries could turn the apple cart over. I said instead of an October surprise, maybe we get a lame duck surprise.
His answer was absolutely, and he said we need a steady hand on the tiller, which we don't really have right now. We have clowns, bozos, and buffoons running things, and we have selected the kind of people we want to be governed by.
Principles Are The Way Back
Jacob said we need to come back to honor. What made America great was principle. I couldn't agree more. We need to be a covenant people with God and focus on principles. That is the only way back.
