General Promises Americans Answers on Niger

Marine Corps general Joseph Dunford is the Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff of the United States military. Today he spent 45 minutes giving a statement and answering questions about the deadly ambush in Niger, Africa that left four American Green Berets dead and two wounded. He pointed out that there is an ongoing investigation and there are many unanswered questions. However, the promises to keep the press, the American people, and particularly the families of the fallen soldiers fully informed of the results of the investigation. This includes answering questions about how and why the ambush occurred.
