Atlanta Gym Owners Bans Police and Military from Membership

Aug 10, 2017

Jim Chambers, a self-described “activist” in Atlanta, Georgia owns a gym called the EAV Barbell Club. He recently posted an expletive filled sign on the door of his business saying that police officers and active duty military will not be allowed as members. He claims this is because most of his members are minorities and would be intimidated by the presence of police officers or soldiers.

Chambers also claim that this has been the policy of his gym since he opened. After public outrage, he took the sign down, but did not apologize and said the policy stands, but he will repost the sign without the filthy language.
