Work Begins in Texas on Southern Border Wall

Jul 17, 2017

It has only been a few says since President Donald Trump won a major victory in the House Appropriations Committee when it approved $1.6 billion in funding for a wall along the southern border. It is only the first step in getting the funding passed, but now it has been learned that plans for construction have already started. The first section of the wall is being built on federal land in south Texas.

This section of the wall has been in the planning stage for several months and will actually begin in January 2018. It will be near McAllen, Texas, a Texas town on the border that has been a focal point for illegal aliens and drug dealers for years.
