Five Acid Attacks in London

There were five acid attacks in a span of 84 minutes in London. Police arrested a 16-year-old male. The first victim was riding on a moped when two people on another moped pulled along side the victim. The men threw acid onto the victim’s face, stole his moped, and drove off. The same two men repeated the attacks four more times. There were 261 acid attacks in 2015 and increased to 458 in 2016. There have been over 120 acid attacks in 2017 so far. The attackers are using common household products such as bleach and unclogging drain agents.
