Record Spending By Feds

Jul 17, 2017

The federal government set a spending record in June. It spent $428,894,000,000. During that same period the Treasury took in $338,660,000,000 leaving a deficit of over $90 billion. This record and excessive spending comes with Republicans in charge of Congress. Congress authorizes spending. Rather than raising taxes or slashing spending, Republicans opted to spend irresponsibly. Republicans love to complain about the national debt and all the spending that President Obama was doing. But now that Republicans are in charge, Republicans showed that they really love to spend other people’s money.
