San Francisco Transit Authority Refusing to Release Video Footage of Robberies

Jul 13, 2017

During the past three months there have been numerous robberies committed by gangs of “minority youths” on Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) trains. Many of these were videotaped by the surveillance systems on the trains, but BART authorities are refusing to release them to the police. They maintain that such a release might cause “racism” among passengers who have been victimized by these teenagers.

This means that in the name of political correctness BART officials are willing to allow innocent passengers to be robbed and perhaps even injured or killed because they won’t help the authorities identify and apprehend the perpetrators.
