An explosion of what appears to have been a pipe bomb in front of a U.S. Air Force recruiting center in a suburb of Tulsa, Oklahoma is being investigated by the FBI as a possible act of domestic terrorism. The attack occurred on Monday night and the damage to the building was minor and there were no injuries. However, this is the second incident in the past few weeks since a nearby National Guard recruitment center was also vandalized.
These incidents could be motivated by ISIS or other foreign terrorists or simply by the anti-Trump rhetoric that led to the shooting of Congressman Steve Scalise and others by a Bernie Sanders supporter. In any case, it needs to be taken seriously.
