Car Plows Into Pedestrians in Times Square

May 19, 2017

In an incident eerily similar to recent terrorists attacks in France, Germany, and Great Britain a speeding vehicle ran up on the sidewalk in crowded Times Square in New York City. One person was killed and at least nineteen more were injured and several of the victims are in critical condition. However, according to New York City authorities this is not believed to have been terrorist related, but the result of actions by 26 year old Richard Rojas, a resident of the Bronx who has a history of DUIs and apparently was fleeing the scene of a robbery when the incident occurred. Police are still investigating.
