North Korean Missiles Could Threaten West Coast, but not Everyone is Preparing

As U.S. military intelligence officials further evaluate the most recent missile test by North Korea and well as new satellite images of missile they are coming to the conclusion that Kim Jung Un is very close to being able to attack the United States. The state of Hawaii is actually planning for a possible attack by reopening shelters and preparing evacuation plans. However, another city that is vulnerable and a likely target because of its military bases is prohibited by a state law from making similar preparations. That city is Seattle, Washington since in 1984 the state legislature passed a law allowing the state to plan for every type of disaster except or a nuclear attack. Apparently legislators felt that such planning might provoke the Soviet Union.
