Schumer Supports Delaying Vote on new FBI Director until Special Prosecutor Appointed

New York Senator Chuck Schumer, the Democrat minority leader in the Senate has declared that he supports the demand by Senator Mark Warner of Virginia to try and delay the vote on any new FBI director, regardless of who it is, until a special prosecutor is appointed. They want this special prosecutor to investigate the alleged collusion between Trump and his campaign to influence the outcome of last November’s presidential election.

The fact that no evidence of any such collusion has been found does not matter. Many critics point out that Democrats are so obsessed with Clinton’s loss to Trump that they will do anything they can to disrupt the new administration even if it puts America’s intelligence community and law enforcement capabilities at risk.
