Paul Craig Roberts Wrong on North Korea

May 12, 2017

Sometimes Robert’s anti-globalism leads him to suspect that every enemy the globalists highlight must be false, which is isn’t true. He said,

"The North Korean "crisis" is a Washington orchestration... N. Korea has not attacked or invaded anyone in 64 years." Wrong. North Korea has attacked S. Korea or the US every couple of years. They shot dead a US Army major on the DMZ, shelled an Island city in SK, captured a US spy ship (USS Pueblo), and sunk various SK vessels. "N. Korea lacks the military strength to attack any country, such as South Korea and Japan, that is protected by the US." Wrong again. NK has a huge military and is very capable of invading SK. He says that, "China would not permit N. Korea to start a war." Well, not yet, but only because they aren’t ready yet, but NK is being preserved as the trigger event for WWIII. He thinks the entire NK controversy is designed by Washington to excuse putting in the THAAD ABM system into SK, close to China’s border. Sadly, neither does he think Russia or China are eventual enemies of the US
