Hundreds of foreign reporters were awakened around 5 AM on Thursday by “minders” and told to put on suits so they could witness and report on some new show of strength that dictator Kim had in mind to impress foreign audiences. Thursday passed without anything happening. That’s a strange way to impress the foreign media.
Monitors have said the country is “primed and ready” to conduct a sixth nuclear test. In response, according to NBC News, the Trump administration has announced that it will preemptively strike NK nuclear test site with cruise missiles or other conventional weapons should it become obvious that it is about to test another nuclear weapon. Experts expect NK to do another test as early as this weekend, so a US cruise missile strike on NK could be imminent.
